2012: Happy Tails & New-homed Alaskan Malamutes
These Alaskan Malamutes and other dogs found their new homes through TAMR assistance. Most dogs are TAMR adoptions, while others (not all listed here) found new homes by help provided to private individuals, other rescue organizations, and local shelters. TAMR is very happy to have all these dogs find permanent homes with loving and responsible owners.

Jack is a happy, friendly, and playful boy who enjoys people. He plays well with toys, but needs supervison as he can be possessive at times. Jack is the perfect companion for a home with no kids, cats, or other dogs altho he may do well with the right female. Jack fell on hard times as a neglected dog and and just needed a forever home of his own. |

Kumo is a bundle of teenager energy! Sweet boy who is very playful and loves exploring. Kumo will do best in an active home with lots of daily exercise and firm handling in the home. He needs structure and general training in obedience. Kumo loves to play with toys, but needs supervison as he will try to guard them. This can be addressed with proper training. No cats or small children. |

Tugg is a stout boy with a wonderful personality. He is well behaved, loves hanging out with friends, and enjoys attention. He rides well, great on a leash, and easy going inside. |

Happy, spirited, sweet girl who loves life! She had a rough start as a baby and was rescued from a puppy mill with 160 other Mals. She has learned to sleep indoors, walk on a leash, potty outside, get along with other dogs, not fight for food, and share toys, beds, and attention. |

Angel is a young, sweet, and very friendly girl. She is fairly mellow although can be quite playful. Angel loves children and will do best with a dog buddy or 2 in a family home. It appears her tail has been previously broken and is short. Angel has a sweet little woo woo! She is up to date on shots, spayed, and heartworm negative. Angel is ready for her furever home now! Lilly lost her home when her owner became too ill to care for her. Lilly is AKC registered, but her breeder refused to help! Lilly is a pretty and quite friendly red-head who is good with other dogs and seems afraid of cats! Photos of Lilly. |

Chief is very friendly and loves to give kisses. He is house trained and has shown good manners left alone for a few hours (not crated). Chief has done well in his foster home and at public events. Tala is super sweet and very friendly. Great with people, older kids, dog savy cats, and other dogs. She doesnt like being crated, but is well mannered in a home. She will does best with a stay at home human or as she wants to be with her humans. Tala has anxiety issues when alone and prefers company. See pictures of Tala here. |

Koda is super friendly and loves to give big sloppy kisses. Great tempermant and will do great in an active household. He needs a strong fence and dislikes crates, we recommend a strudy oversize crate to train him in if needed. |

Lakota is a large senior gal who is full of spirit and who loves people, has great house manners, and rides like a champ. Lakota LOVES water and swimming! Lakota is given daily joint supplements and is otherwise happy and healthy. Lakota can be assertive with other dogs and doesn't like to share, so she needs supervision around most other dogs. Aslan (formerly Bandit) lost his home due to a personal family situation and returned to rescue. He is good with other dogs, altho he can play rough, and had 4 husky fur-siblings. Rhode is a young super sweet boy who is healthy, handsome, and ready to GO! Rhode is friendly, happy, loves attention and family adventures. He will make a great addition for an active family.
