2000: Rescued & New-homed Alaskan Malamutes

These Alaskan Malamutes and other dogs found their new homes through TAMR assistance. Most dogs are TAMR adoptions, while others (not all listed here) found new homes by help provided to private individuals, other rescue organizations, and local shelters. TAMR is very happy to have all these dogs find permanent homes with loving and responsible owners.

Noel (assisted)	F 2 yr	Big gentle teddy bear with wonderful personality and temperament. Well behaved and knows basic obedience. Beautiful coat with splashed color pattern. Assisted adoption through Richland Hills.
Willy	M 6 yr	Talkative and friendly gentleman who loves treats. A housedog good with smaller dogs and cats. Willy's owner died and he needed a loving new home, a diet and some exercise.
Tess	F 3.5 yr	Pretty with a sense of humor and lots of personality. Intelligent, playful, and loves belly rubs. Good with kids, friendly dogs and calm cats. Now the spoiled princess in her new home and the unofficial mascot of the kid's sports team & mom's office. Woohoo!
Cody	M 5 mo	Nice puppy and great with everyone, including kids and cats. Crate trained, good in house and yard. Initially shy, but settles in nicely and is very well behaved. Cody had a rough start in life and needed a loving family to spend his time with.
Nenani	M 10 mo	Playful and happy-go-lucky teddy bear. Affectionate and gets along with most other dogs. Companion to Kobuk and adopted together by their foster family in the Dallas area.
Kobuk	M 10 mo	Very smart and playful boy. Initially reserved, but warms up quickly. Gets along with most dogs. Agile and needs a companion to play with. Companion to Nenani and adopted together by their Dallas foster.
Lyrick	F 9 mo	Lyrick was an owner turn in to a kill shelter, with a short time line. It was love at first sight with her new dad. With the assistance of several wonderful people, Lyrick was sprung and transported to an Oklahoma rescue - all in a day's time.
Pearl	F 4 yr	Friendly, gentle and loving girl. Good with kids, but needs to be only dog. House trained, well behaved, and good in yard. Easy to handle and very affectionate. Loves to be the center of attention and have her belly rubbed! Now living in Amarillo.
Graham	M 1 yr	Sweet tempered and easy going boy. Very pretty, even though his ears are down. Easy to handle and good on leash. His new home and family are in Oklahoma.
Lasota	M 5 mo	Playful pup with good personality. Well behaved and calm for age. Good in car, loves toys, and gets along with most other animals. Very affectionate and loves being a house dog. Adopted by a lady with as much spunk as he has!
Kista	F 1.5 yr	Very calm girl that likes to cuddle on the couch and snuggle. Gets along well with males. Very pretty girl! Now living with Bosco and a house full of happy children.
Tonto	M 1 yr	Affectionate, happy, playful, and loves toys. Good with all sizes of other dogs and dog-savvy cats. Good in yard, house, and on walks. Needs a little obedience work, but a quick learner. His new family in Houston includes Ebony the Rottie & Pud the cat!
Starr	F 6 yr	Affectionate, playful, and loves to snuggle. Well mannered and house trained. Good with kids and most dogs. Happy girl and with a smiling face. Abandoned with a mal companion (Ringo) and now spoiled in Dallas with her new dad and friend Bear.
Tipper (assisted)	F 4.5 yr	Very pretty girl with calm, friendly temperament. Bit of a couch potato, good in house and yard. Well behaved and good on leash. Easy keeper and good with older children. Now living in the Houston area with her new family.
Nordic (assisted)	M 1 yr	Pretty, happy and energetic boy. Good with most dogs. Good in house and yard. Healthy, but needs to gain weight. Abandoned by owners when they moved and needed a stable home with a loving family.
Monty	M 5 yr	Mellow non-mal that loves people and good with other dogs. Quiet, easy to handle, well behaved and gentle hugger. Sensitive to change and needed a stable home. Transferred to another rescue and now living happily a wonderful home with dog pals.
Angel	F 3 yr	Friendly and energetic girl, but not unruly. Loves to run and play. She likes older children.
Murphy	F 2 yr	Very lady like and well mannered girl. Good in house and on leash. Sometimes talkative with a soft and sweet voice.
Smokey	M 11 mo	Beautiful young boy with sable markings. Affectionate and playful. Housebroken, good in yard and well behaved. Happy, active, sweet tempered and good with other dogs. Now living with his new dad in Austin.
Snowflake	F 4 yr	Happy and bouncy "cuddle bug". Good with males and some females. Good in crate, yard, and ok on leash.
Timber (assisted)	M 2 yr	Gentle, well behaved and good natured. Good with cats and other dogs. Talkative boy.
Maverick	M 6 yr	A very pretty woolly and a real character! He is good with other dogs, playful, loving and has a real love of life. Loves toys, walks, heavy petting and just hanging out with his favorite people. Now in Florida with his new family.
Drew	M 4 yr	Good natured boy with gentle and easy going temperament. Well behaved and good on leash. Loves attention and hugs. Gets along well with non-aggressive dogs. Likes to talk and is a real 'character'. Now in Dallas with his new family and called Morus.
Keika	F 2 yr	Friendly and easy going girl. Loves people, belly rubs, and being a house dog. Well behaved inside and in yard. Very intelligent and can open doors and gates. Now named Deliliah and living in Austin with her new little girl and a Shepherd puppy named Angus.
Maverick	M 1 yr	Large, pretty boy with good temperment. Gets along well with other dogs. Sweet, playful, and gentle. Now has a loving family and several dog pals to play with in Houston.
Megan	F 1 yr	Cute little girl with a friendly personality. Energetic and playful with other dogs, but gentle with people. Good in yard, but an escapist if ignored. Talkative, affectionate, and well behaved. Living with a young Austin couple and her malamute companion, Malaki.
Shantel	F 8 yr	Sweet, friendly and mellow lady. Excellant temperament and well trained. Was a certified Companion Dog. Good with children and other animals. Very good health and easy care. Now living in Beaumont with a police couple and their son.
Kita II	F 7 mo	Pretty pup with good house manners. Sweet and friendly personality. Good with kids of all ages and most dogs. Knows basic obedience, good in crate, car and on leash. Adopted by an Austin family and living on their ranch.
Bridget	F 10 mo	Calm and loving girl. Housebroken, good with other dogs, cats and children. Likes to get into the shower! She is now named Montana and living with her new mom and mal buddy in Colorado.
Chelsea	F 1 yr	Affectionate, friendly attitude and good tempered. Good in yard, with most dogs and older children. Lots of happy puppy energy. Plays ball, very alert, and quick learner. Now a music loving house dog and New England jogger with her new dad.
