2013: Happy Tails & New-homed Alaskan Malamutes

These Alaskan Malamutes and other dogs found their new homes through TAMR assistance. Most dogs are TAMR adoptions, while others (not all listed here) found new homes by help provided to private individuals, other rescue organizations, and local shelters. TAMR is very happy to have all these dogs find permanent homes with loving and responsible owners.

Kronus Kronus

M
Adult

Kronus is the male of a pair of big beautiful mals. Both are sweet and smart, know commands, and love attention at every opportunity. They love belly rubs and walks, and enjoy meeting people. Both are very comfortable with humans, but are probably best in a dog savvy home without young children. They do not do well with other dogs when as a pair and sometimes as individuals. NO small dogs or cats!

Rhea is the alpha while Kronus is the quiet one. They have a long established bond and may be related, and adopted together! See their pictures here and newer here.

Rosetta

Angel Paws

Rosetta is a very shy Malamute who came from an awful puppy mill situation in Montana. Read more about the Aluk Montana seizure online here.

Rosetta is slowing learning to trust humans and continues to make slow steady progress toward that goal. Recently she has started to come out of shell more and enjoy life. Rosetta does good inside altho she still prefers to have a little space. She will "buddy up" and play with one dog, but not two or more. Definately no cats for this girl. Roro is ready for a furever home with a special someone. An owner experienced in dealing with shy dogs or abuse cases is preferred to continue her rehabilitation.

Trooper

Angel Paws
This boy was too special to ride with the dog catcher and instead rode in the back seat of a Houston Police car! He is very friendly and playful, but has some stubborness and probably someone's spoiled housedog. He is laid back and loves treats. He plays well with most females and ok around some males too! He does great at dog events with people and dogs; and loves the attention. No cats or other small animals!
Demi

Demi

F
Young Adult
Spunky little Husky girl who enjoys attention, activity, and adventure. Good with most dogs, cats unknown.
Jewel Jewel
F
Adult
Jewel is a very happy girl, smart, and quite strong. She will love a very active home with long walks and running in a creek/pond on a long leash. Jewel is selective on her dog buddies so would do best with a friendly male. NO cats for this gal, and she is too active for small kids.
